The sound of a Nikon D700 with a Nikon 24-70 8.2 lens that falls to the mountain is a sound (and sight) I will never forget. Yesterday when I was on Gränsö and photographed as I fumbled with the camera so the whole package went to hell. The lens can not zoom in, and a piece of plastic has disappeared from the front edge. The camera's shutter, the sensor and the glass cover of the upper dislayen is gone. Sad, very sad. Disaster!
